The existence of Babri Masjid a reality

Struggle will continue till the reconstruction of Babri Masjid

Secretary Civil Liberties Monitoring Committee, released a statement by stating that for the past few days many views are coming out on the occasion of the judgment on Babri Masjid that is coming nearer. On one side the Hindutva forces are openly declaring that they will not respect the judgment if it goes against their wishes. This means they are ignoring the respect towards the court as well the Indian constitution. They clearly said that it is a matter of faith and the RSS ideology and BJP politics depend upon this. On the other side the people belonging to Muslim organizations express their belief on Indian constitution and judiciary and they opine that even if the judgment comes in favour of them or against them, they will neither celebrate nor protest on the judgment. The government of India is appealing the people by conducting the meetings of the Hindu-Muslim ruling class, to extend their cooperation in maintaining the peace.

Under these circumstances, on behalf of the Civil Liberties we clearly state that the existence of Babri Masjid is a fact. The demand of justice is that the place should be handed over to the Muslims and the government of India should re-built the Masjid at its same place and punish the culprits of the demolition of Babri Masjid. This is also necessary because on 6th December 1982, the miscreant group (Chandaal Choukdi) of Advani, Joshi, Uma, Kalyan Singh, and Togadia, gathered lakhs of Hindutva terrorists in Ayodhya and under the supervision of Congressi Prime minister, Narsimha Rao, demolished the Babri Masjid by using the explosive material. In fact it was a serious pre-planned terrorist activity with many masterminds involved belonging to Indian ruling class, excluding their political parties’ connection. It is a matter of deep concern that the criminals of this terror act are still free and enjoyed the seats of Prime Minister and Home Minister of India. Only courts have remained as a ray of hope for justice.

Civil Liberties believe that if Indian Judiciary protects its own respect and to continue its standards of justice, it will have to deliver judgment in favour of Babri Masjid. The judgment against the Masjid or hesitating or reluctant judgment will collapse the system of judiciary which may lead this country towards civil war.

At this juncture, there is no need for the Muslim ruling class to be out of senses and to appeal Muslim community neither to express their happiness nor sorrow on the coming judgment. The common Muslim has complete right to express their emotions in a democratic manner, within the framework of law. As far as the Muslims are concerned, under these circumstances, there are prophet’s guidelines regarding how to face the situation like this. Prophet Mohammed has instructed to follow the path of temperance and moderation. The common belief and faith of the Muslims is that the decisions take place not on the earth by the people but on the sky by Allah.

Civil Liberties believe that whatever may be the court judgment, the Babri Masjid is chasing its criminals. The criminals of Babri Masjid will become the symbol of admonition. The example of this is the half burnt naked corpse of Narsimha Rao eaten by dogs and this was witnessed by the whole world. Under his supervision Babri Masjid was demolished. It is evident by the sad faces of Advani, Uma, Togadia, Joshi and Kalyan that they are undergoing sleepless nights and the life has become miserable for them. Finally, Civil Liberties states that Rajiv Gandhi had done a grave mistake by conducting shila-nyas in the Babri Masjid premises for the sake of vote bank politics and to show his political tactics, the world has witnessed the end of Rajiv Gandhi. There is only one way to maintain the peace and harmony to protect the country by re-constructing the Babri Masjid, which is nothing but to rectify the mistake done by Rajiv Gandhi, i.e. we want to say clearly that the mistake was done by the father and it is the responsibility of the son (Rahul Gandhi) to rectify the mistake, otherwise he may also face the political end.
