Mr. Commissioner of Police Hyderabad Act decisively
Attack on Muslims by RSS gang in Hyderabad city, Result of criminal negligence by the city police.

Civil liberties Monitoring committee has expressed its serious concern on the pre planned attacks by RSS gang (BJP,VHP,Bagrang Dal,Hindu vahini Durga vahini) on Muslims in Hyderabad city. In its memorandum to commissioner of police Mr. A.K. Khan, Committee articulated that police have failed to control the RSS mob. And this failure is the result of criminal negligence of the police. Communalism has got deep rooted in the Hyderabad police. Hindutva elements have uninterrupted freedom in the city to carry out their activities. Praveen Togadia of VHP who got many cases registered in Hyderabad is giving hate speeches against Muslims and christens on the eve of Hanuman Jayanthi, under the protection of police , police instead of arresting him provided him security. And under the protection of police, immediately after his departure his followers and people of his type like Govind singh of VHP and Sahadev yadav BJP counselor of kurmaguda started pre planned attacks on Muslims by taking advantage of hanuman Temple episode. Hyderabad’s situation is going to be deteriorated is being known by police and every one in the city was having uncertainty about it. But Hyderabad police who works under the commissioner of police Mr. A.K Khan have totally failed in controlling the situation.

In Kurmaguda and in Syeedabad Muslims were attacked their properties were destroyed; unruly mob even entered into the Muslim houses and molested the women folk. As the result of it Muslim women came out of their houses. Hindutva forces are targeting Muslim youths in deadly attacks. But instead of providing protection to Muslims police is giving guard to Hindutva communal forces. It is felt that because a Muslim is holding city commissioner post whole Muslim community in the city is paying for it.

Civil liberties monitoring committee demanded to the commissioner of police not to work under the influence of Hindutva force for his chair and position, but he should fulfill his job honestly and as it should be. Instead taking strict action against Muslims to please his hindutva bosses present in congress government, he should act against Hindutva communal elements to restore peace and communal harmony

Civil liberties have received many complains regarding the arrests of Muslim youths in the city, in which many are students, and their exams are still going on. Civil liberties demands to release them, and arrest the real culprits, provide protection to the Muslims. And if as a police commissioner Mr.A.K.Khan can’t fulfill his responsibility then he should resign from his posts instead turn out to be burden on Muslim community.

Lateef Mohammed Khan.
General Secretary .CLMC

Quote of the Day
Women are supposed to be very calm generally: but women feel just as men feel...they suffer from too rigid a restraint, too absolute a stagnation, precisely as men would suffer...It is thoughtless to condemn them, or laugh at them, if they seek to do more or learn more than custom has pronounced necessary for their sex.

Charlotte Bronte
(1816-1855)
